Dormero Hotel Plauen

The hotel is ideally located close to the city center with most local restaurants like the Handelshaus within walking distance. the room provided a nice view of the city and was comfortable, while the bathroom was clean and modern. the breakfast offered a good selection of food and the complimentary minibar was a nice perk.

The noise from the doors when opening with keys was disturbing at times, especially in the early morning.

No tea/coffe appliances in the room. Extra charge for the parking.

no lift from parking place to the hotel, so you have to take all your bags with you by stairs.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this 4-star hotel and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way. The location, right in the heart of the city, was incredibly convenient for exploring. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated, offering a luxurious and comfortable atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the large TV with a great selection of free films, perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Additionally, the spa area was immaculate and provided a tranquil space to relax and rejuvenate.

All in all, I cannot recommend this hotel enough to my family and friends. This place checks all the boxes for a luxury stay, from the prime location to the exceptional service and amenities.

The location is excellent. It is 2 minutes from the centre of the city with its street car and bus terminal, 2 minutes from shopping, and 5 minutes from the old town.

Nice rooms and the complimentary minibar were a pleasant surprise. the location was ideal, making it easy to walk around and explore. the restaurant next door was a great place to eat and had excellent service.

The reception was slow when we arrived, and some guests had trouble checking out in the morning since there was no staff available. the steam sauna didn't work correctly, and it would have been nice to have a wider selection of beverages in the minibar.

We had an amazing weekend at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a large TV and free underground parking. The key location to all of the local restaurants was perfect, especially Handelshaus. We were pleasantly surprised to find a free minibar in our room, and the friendly receptionist made us feel right at home. The breakfast selection, including hot food, was also a great way to start our day.

There were a few aspects that could have been improved. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and there were no tea or coffee making facilities.

The service, free use of computer and printer, breakfast is very good as well as spacious rooms.

No free wireless internet on the rooms, no bath tube in the bathroom, no slippers and bathjacket in the room

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in this hotel with our family and friends. The hotel provided us with large and clean double rooms in a nice style. The staff was very professional, and Mr Elwely Nah made our welcome very special. The hotel's best aspects are the central location, the big parking lot on site, the excellent breakfast with hot food and the perfect Wi-Fi connection.
